We're proud that our QEGS Alumni are called Old Savilians

On leaving school, former QEGS students become known as Old Savilians, named after one of our founding families, and are invited to join the Old Savilian (OS) community, known as OldSaviliansOnline to stay in touch with School and fellow Old Savilians, receive the e-newsletters and be invited to events.

The Old Savilians' Club which is the Old Boys' Association of QEGS was founded in 1898 to promote the fellowship and well being of former pupils of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield and takes its name in honour of the school's founding benefactors.

Throughout its existence the Club has remained remarkably faithful to its original objectives, which are to promote good fellowship of all Old Savilians, to strengthen the links between past and present, and to promote the interests of the School and its alumni.
