On Saturday 28 September we were delighted to welcome the Class of '64 1st XV back to QEGS to celebrate an incredible 60 years since their graduation. 

The group reunited at the Senior Games field to cheer on the current 1st XV as they faced Durham, before returning to QEGS for lunch in their old school dining room in the Cloisters, where they were joined by the current 1st XV after their well earned victory.

These dedicated Old Savilians have stayed in touch since graduation, and had travelled from across the globe to reunite - from the USA, Canada and Cambodia. Alongside some more local lads from Outwood! It was a wonderful afternoon where the group shared stories and caught up with lifelong friends. A display from the archives helped to jog some memories from their time at QEGS. A perfect day of memories, rugby, and old friends.
