James plays for Leeds Fury Men's and Mixed Netball Club and they are trying to grow the participation in the region and wanted to reach out to any Old Savs still based within Yorkshire who might be looking to try a new sport.

There are loads of opportunities in the sport currently. As a team we finished 3rd in the first national men's tournament in 2021. They have played against Vitality Netball Superleague teams like Manchester Thunder, Leeds Rhinos, Severn Stars & Strathclyde Sirens.

James says, "Within a few short years of being introduced to this game I have been fortunate to have had so many amazing opportunities to meet, train with and play against elite netballers who have been at the top of their sport for a long time. All of this inspired me to start a team of my own
to continue the development of men’s and mixed netball in Yorkshire."
James was selected into the England Thorns squad in March 2022, represented England in the Commonwealth Games prior to going on tour to Australia and New Zealand.
