Today QEGS had a special assembly to mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Dr Brookes gave a moving obituary to the Queen, including footage from her visit to QEGS in 1992, followed by a minute's silence and the national anthem played on the piano. The long reign of Queen Elizabeth II was marked by her strong sense of duty and her determination to dedicate her life to her throne and to her people. RIP Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
